The work itself

What business development actually means, in plain terms.

Not strategy documents, and not a quarterly report full of impressions. The specific things that put more people through your door, and the commercial mechanics that turn them into money.

Being found

Most trade now begins with a search on a phone within a mile of your door. If your listing is thin, your hours are wrong, or your photographs are five years old, you lose the customer before they ever knew they were choosing.

  • Google Business Profile built properly and kept current
  • Local search position for the terms people actually type
  • A website that loads fast and says what you sell
  • Menus, hours and photographs correct everywhere they appear

Being remembered

Being found once is not enough. People choose the place they have seen recently and feel something about. That is what content does, and it is the part most independents either avoid or do badly.

  • Social accounts run properly rather than sporadically
  • Short form video, which is where local discovery now happens
  • Creators sourced, briefed and contracted on your behalf
  • Reviews answered, good and bad, in your voice

Being chosen, and chosen again

Attention is worthless until it converts. This is the commercial engineering underneath the marketing, and it is usually where the fastest money is, because it costs nothing to fix a badly built menu.

  • Menu architecture and pricing that protects margin
  • Offers designed to fill quiet hours, not discount busy ones
  • Delivery platform strategy, including whether to be on them
  • Repeat trade, loyalty and local corporate accounts

On creators

The thing everybody has heard of and nobody has explained.

A creator is somebody with a local following who will come to your business, eat what you sell, and make a short video about it. Their audience is usually more local, and more persuadable, than any advertisement you could buy.

The difficulty is not the idea. It is that finding the right one, agreeing what they will make, contracting it properly and making sure it is actually delivered is a job in itself, and not one any operator has time for between services.

We identify them, brief them, contract them and handle delivery. Their fee is passed to you at cost, so you can see plainly what you are paying for the work and what you are paying for the creator.
